What might cause white spots on the retina?
There literally are dozens of conditions that can cause white spots on the retina, including inflammatory, inherited, metabolic, and medication-related causes. If you or a family member have been diagnosed with "white spot syndrome" it is important to be evaluated by a retina specialist.
