My mom has had several strokes and is diagnosed epileptic. For the past week, her left lid has become swollen. She has also complained of pain in her left eye. She has been to an eye doctor before, and she has poor vision problems because of this. But the swelling is a new symptom. Is this caused from previous strokes and/or seizures or something different?
Likely the swelling and pain is not related to the strokes and may be the sign of an infection. Your mother should consult with an Eye M.D. to help her correctly diagnose and treat this new condition.
