Question:
Should I use eyedrops to treat a subconjunctival hemorrhage?
Answer:
Almost always, a subconjunctival hemorrhage is benign—meaning that it is harmless. It is a spontaneous "bruise." No drops will help treatment as this is best treated with time. If it is recurrent, you should consider being examined by an ophthalmologist.
