Question:
I have a silver streak that looks like a piece of tinsel on a Christmas tree that appears on the right corner of my right eye. What could this be?
Answer:
It is probably a "photopsia," and if it is accompanied by an onset of small dark "floaters," you should see an ophthalmologist immediately. Similarly, if the flash persists, a comprehensive eye exam is in order.
