Question:
My left eye retinal tear was repaired by laser about five months ago. I still see the odd floaters. How long will I have to rest before I can play golf?
Answer:
Unfortunately, floaters may persist indefinitely after a retinal tear. However, usually floaters become less bothersome over time. Once the tear has been treated with laser and the eye has been stable for a month or so, there should be no problem with playing golf.
