Question:
I have a question about my 1-year-old daughter. I accidentally elbowed her left eye, and then suddenly a red spot occurred in her sclera. Is there a cure to treat the red spot? Please give me a guide to cure the red spot.
Answer:
An injury as you describe creates a small hemorrhage, which should clear over a few days to a week or so depending on the size. Occasionally there are small conjunctival collections of blood vessels which are permanent.
