Question:
I was recently diagnosed with early onset diabetes, and my vision is blurry at times. What does this mean and should I get in for an eye exam soon?
Answer:
If you have been diagnosed with diabetes, it is a good idea to obtain a complete eye exam and dilated retinal exam. This will determine whether there is any diabetic retinopathy and whether any treatment is needed. It will also help to determine the cause of your blurry vision.
