Question:
Will pink eye damage my lens implants?
Answer:
Conjunctivitis is commonly referred to as pink eye and is characterized by inflammation of the conjunctiva, the outermost "skin" layer of the eye. An isolated conjunctivitis is confined to the wall of the eye, and will not damage an intraocular lens implant.
