I'm noticing a kaleidoscope image at edge of eye—what might this be?
This is difficult to answer without more information. This type of problem frequently precedes migraine headaches, and if a transient loss of vision occurs after the "image," this would be the most likely diagnosis. If you are suddenly seeing small dark floating objects in association with the "image," you should be examined in the very near future by an ophthalmologist.
