Is laser cataract surgery recommended for patients who have had LASIK? Is there a risk of damaging the flap created from the prior LASIK procedure?

Answer:
Femtosecond laser–assisted cataract surgery is safe for LASIK-treated eyes and should cause no damage to the flap.
