Question:
I had detached retina surgery with a buckle a year ago. Can I use an inversion table for my back or will it hurt my eyes? Could I elevate my head with a pillow during inversion if the past detached retina is a factor?
Answer:
There is no established contraindication for inversion tables with respect to healed retinal detachment surgery. Please consult your surgeon for any specific preferences.
