Question:
Is there a hereditary syndrome that causes cloudy vision after cataract surgery?

Answer:
I am not aware of a hereditary syndrome that specifically causes blurriness after cataract surgery. Certain hereditary conditions such as retinitis pigmentosa can predispose to a risk of cystoid macular edema after cataract surgery that can cause cloudy vision.
