Is there any need for follow-up visits with my doctor one year after my cataract surgery?
I think it is important to be followed on an annual basis after cataract surgery. It is not only necessary to check the artificial lens, but also to evaluate you for glaucoma, retinal tears, macular degeneration, intraocular tumors, and any of a myriad of conditions that would benefit from early diagnosis.
