Please read our important medical disclaimer.
My wife's doctor said her blurred vision in one eye is caused by a thickened cornea. He wants to scrape the cornea. Is this a safe procedure?
She probably has what we call map dystrophy or Salzmann's degeneration. Scraping the "uneven" cells off the cornea should treat the condition and greatly improve her vision. Definitely have her proceed with the treatment.
