Question:
Why is my son seeing everything in green?

Answer:
It is impossible to answer this question without a proper ocular history and eye examination. Many factors can be involved and need to be considered: 1) Is your son’s vision otherwise normal and does he require glasses? 2) What is your son’s age? 3) Is he on any systemic or ocular medications? 4) Was he a full term baby? 5) Does he have any health problems? 6) Is he color blind or partially deficient in color perception? 7) Is the green vision episodic or is it present all of the time? 8) Does it only occur when coming inside from bright sunlight? As you can see there are many questions that need answering. I suggest you take your son to see your ophthalmologist (Eye M.D.) for a comprehensive analysis of this problem.
