Question:
Can cataracts and presbyopia be taken care of with the same surgery?
Answer:
Absolutely. Premium lens implants such as Crystalens, ReStor and Tecnis Multifocal can correct near, intermediate and distance vision. Each has advantages and disadvantages and you should discuss them with your surgeon. Also, these lenses have a cost over and above what your insurance will pay for a standard or traditional surgery.
