Question:
Are cataracts associated with eye pain?

Answer:
Cataracts do not cause pain except if they have been allowed to remain untreated for too long. In this case they cause a lot of pain and light sensitivity. I suggest you consult your ophthalmologist (Eye M.D.) soon if you are having eye pain.
