Question:
Does it matter if you have an intraocular lens implant with a UV blue light filter in one eye and one without the filter in the other eye? Or should you have the UV filter in both eyes?

Answer:
This should not be a problem as many of the early hard, PMMA lens implants had no UV block without much consequence. The way to be sure that your eyes are maximally protected is to wear glasses with a UV filter built into them—these can be either clear or tinted. Wear these outside and you are fairly well protected in both eyes.
