Is research close to restoring eye sight for someone who has experienced repeated retinal detachments (when the light-sensitive tissue peels off the back of the eye) in one eye and for whom current vision in the affected eye is like looking through frosted glass?
I would recommend a comprehensive examination by an ophthalmologist to determine the cause of the "frosted glass" vision in the affected eye to see if anything further can be done. There are certainly advances in restoring vision in visually impaired eyes, but we are not yet close to getting back perfect vision.
