Can map dot dystrophy cause blindness?

Answer:
This is condition in which the skin over the cornea (the window letting light into the eye), is partially defective in adhesion to its underlying supporting tissue. It can lead to episodes of discomfort, actual pain, and sometimes abrasion. There is no conceivable way it would lead to blindness but it does occasionally cause more than a little bit of misery.
