Question:
I have optic nerve hypoplasia. I know there have been advancements with intraocular lenses (IOLs). I’m curious if this is a viable option for correction?

Answer:
Intraocular lenses are used to treat cataracts and refractive conditions. The IOL will only improve vision impaired by a cataract or refractive condition.
