How can I clear up conjunctivitis due to an allergic reaction from eye ointment?
Allergic conjunctivitis is much like any other allergic condition. A person can be allergic to a wide variety of substances. The treatment of allergic conjunctivitis is most successful by removing the entity that is stimulating the allergy. Medications, both oral and topical, can be used to suppress the allergic reaction. I suggest you consult your ophthalmologist (Eye M.D.) for a conversation more specific to your condition.
