Dr. Jane C. Edmond

Dr. Edmond is an associate professor of Ophthalmology and Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. She completed her medical degree and residency at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by a pediatric ophthalmology fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the University of Iowa, and neuro-ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Edmond contributes significantly to the American Academy of Ophthalmology, having served as a member of the Academy's Recredentialing Committee, the Chair of the Lifelong Education for the Ophthalmologist (LEO) Committee and Maintenance of Certification Education Committee, and the editorial review board for volume 6 of the Basic and Clinical Science Course. She currently serves as a member of the Academy's Communications Committee and will become an AAO Trustee at Large in 2013. She has been on the Board of Directors of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and has held many posts in that organization.
